Reliable care today – well positioned for tomorrow

A proven model of care:

Outpatient oncology in Germany offers cancer patients high-quality, personalized treatment close to home.

  • Patients benefit from short travel distances, trusted care teams, and therapies that integrate seamlessly into their daily routine.
  • This creates a highly valued care model that has already proven its worth.

Securing the future:

To maintain this high standard of care in the future, targeted commitment is essential:

  • Rising demands, growing patient numbers, and ongoing medical advances present new challenges for outpatient oncology.
  • Our goal is to maintain both local accessibility and clinical excellence – because the greatest impact comes when patients receive care close to home, tailored to their needs.

We are actively shaping the future of outpatient oncology and ensuring that patients can continue to rely on high-quality, locally delivered care.

  • As an integrated healthcare provider, we connect all stakeholders – oncologists, pharmacies and diagnostics partners – to form a strong network.
  • In doing so, we are creating a care landscape that will continue to offer safety and reliability in the future.

Omnicare stands for
providing cancer patients

DECENTRALIZED PATIENT CARE

Why is outpatient care in the best interest of patients?

A cancer diagnosis is not only a medical challenge, but also an emotional, social, and logistical one. Decentralized, individualized care is key to improving quality of life and supporting strong treatment adherence.

Our company ensures this type of care through four core principles:

Quality – because trust is built on the highest standards

  • Consistent quality in every phase: From the first contact in the clinic to follow-up care – we ensure that the highest standards are consistently upheld.
  • Safety and transparency: Our quality guidelines go beyond the legal requirements to ensure that patients feel safe at all times.
  • Reliability through collaboration: We work closely with care teams and pharmacies to deliver care patients can depend on – without compromise.

Care close to home – because proximity supports healing

  • Short distances, less strain: We ensure cancer patients have access to state-of-the-art oncological care close to home – without long journeys to specialized centers.
  • Familiar care teams build trust: Patients are treated in familiar surroundings by their long-standing care providers – a vital emotional support throughout therapy.
  • Faster appointments and better coordination: Regional care networks and optimized care pathways help reduce wait times and improve coordination across diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up care.

x

Patient-centered care – because every individual is unique

  • Tailored treatment strategies: Using digital treatment planning and individualized medication, we develop personalized care plans – aligned with the patient’s disease stage, quality of life, and social needs.
  • Integrated care pathways: Patients benefit from structured networks that enable seamless and efficient care. Our integrated care pathways connect oncologists, pharmacies, laboratories, and a wide range of specialists – including surgeons, radiation therapists, and other treating physicians.
